My culinary background: hold on, don't blink. Really my background is just cooking because I love it and I love food. I can remember being ten and I used to make dinners for my mother and myself. I remember finding a recipe in one of her magazines and it was barley vegetable stuffed yellow squash. So since then I have been trying new recipes to find the ones I love.
I will say, almost all my meals involve wild game or no meat at all. I was vegan for nearly 5 years. So I do like to find creative ways to make a meal without using meat. If the recipe I show has wild game in it, feel free to substitute with beef. I encourage everyone to look into where their meat comes from, you may not like what you find. Regardless, it is everyone's own decision what they eat, that is why I love cooking and creating.
I live on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon inside Grand Canyon National Park. Alot of the socializing around here is around food or dinner parties. With not a lot of activity for the locals we love us some dinner parties.
I have a lovely family here that consists of my Bassett Hound, Dozer and my kitty, Neko Kitty. Oh yeah, and my husband, Stuart and my step kids Sarah and Jason.
